Using WordArt and the Clip Gallery

Word, Excel and PowerPoint all share peripheral programs such as WordArt and the Clip Gallery. You can access many of the features of these peripheral programs through buttons on the Drawing toolbar. To display it choose View, Toolbars, Drawing from the menu. To insert a clip, click the Insert Clip Art button from the Drawing toolbar. In the Insert ClipArt dialog box, click the tab for the type of clip you want (Pictures, Sounds, or Motion Clips) and click a category to display associated clips. You can also type a keyword, such as business or leadership, in the Search text box and press Enter. When you see a clip you want, click it and choose Insert Clip from the pop-up menu. Use options in the Paste Special dialog box to link data. WordArt stretches, embosses and otherwise changes the way text appears. To insert a WordArt object, click Insert WordArt from the Drawing toolbar. Double-click the style you want in the WordArt Gallery and enter your text in the Edit WordArt Text dialog box, then click OK.
