Hide Your Online Status
If you don't want others to know you're signed on to Instant Messenger, select Tasks, Instant Messenger, then click on the Preferences icon. Under Instant Messenger, select Privacy, then choose either the radio button Block All Users From Connecting or Block The Users Listed Below. Next, type the usernames of the people you don't want to contact you, then choose OK.
