USB and Safe mode
GETTING OFF THE BUS ISN'T ALWAYS "SAFE"
If you use Windows 98 and a Universal Serial Bus mouse or keyboard, be aware that these devices will not work if you boot to safe mode. So what do you do if you have a driver problem or a hardware conflict, and Win98 puts you into safe mode, rendering your USB equipment useless? In case of such emergencies, you'll need your old keyboard and mouse. Make sure you don't toss them out when you upgrade to USB devices.
