View Security Certificates
To view security certificates for sites, from the Tools menu in IE5 (View menu in IE4) choose Internet Options. Click the Content tab. In the Certificates area, choose the Certificates or Publishers buttons to view the list of current certificates that you trust. This is helpful because it authenticates you as a user and also authenticates the producer or publisher. That way, no hacker will be able to intercept or modify e-mail. For example, if e-mail is sent by Microsoft, then you can verify that MS is indeed the source.
